PROGRAM NOTE
This is an arrangement of the tune Trentham (T.B. 159) to which we associate the words Breathe on Me, Breath of God (S.A.S.B. 294). The lyrics of this song reflect simple, short prayers that express the deep desire to be renewed and transformed in Christ – to be wholly His.
ABOUT THE COMPOSER
Rachel Ewing worships at North Toronto Community Church where she is the bandmaster, songster accompanist, and corps pianist. She is also the accompanist for the Canadian Staff Songsters. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Western University and a Masters in Collaborative Piano Performance from the University of Toronto. Rachel is a member of Music and Arts Ministries for the Canada and Bermuda Territory where she has worked for the last 8 years. Prior to working for The Salvation Army, she was a freelance accompanist in the Greater Toronto Area. This is her second published band piece.
